1932-04-23 – Greeley Daily Tribune – Florence Dauth Planting Trees With Camp Fire Girls ⧉

Representatives of all Camp Fire groups of Greeley met Thursday afternoon at Glenmere park to plant three American elms in honor of the two hundredth birthday of Washington. Thee trees were planted in the form of a Wohelo triangle - Wohelo being formed of the first two letters of work, health and love and constituting the motto of the Camp Fire girls. Trees for the planting were purchased by a joint contribution of the camps and with two evergreens donated by Mr. Stutsman and Mrs. George Dauth form a grouping of trees just to the west of the tree planted on Friday, April 22 by the Women's club. Later the girls plan additional shrubbery for this beautiful spot. On the following day the Camp Fire girls of Greeley were excused form school to take part in the general exercises accompanying the planting and dedication of the Woman's club tree, and a large number attended. ⧉
