Canyon Motel Guests Gather for Western Show Friday Night Nearly one hundred guests and neighbors of the Appleby Motel, Ritz Motel and Idlewild Lodge attended the first annual western show presented last Friday night by the young people of the Appleby Motel and cafe. The event was held on the court of the Appleby motel. Local young people participating were Carolyn, Lora and Johnny Feddersen, Jimmy and Judy Allen, Leon Feddersen, Jerry Dauth and Bud Smith. Out of town participants were Paulette and Terry Ritenour, of Onslow, Iowa; Jean Hohn, Lost Nation, Iowa; and Jim Brubaker, Wheaton, Illinois. The show was written and directed by Mrs. Dorothy Morin of the canyon. Other adults who assisted were Mrs. Leona Feddersen, Mrs. Bernice Buckingham, Mrs. Bessie Jones, Mrs. Ann Dauth, Mrs. Charlene Hohn, Raymond Morin, Pete Olson and Lawrence Brammerlo, of Delmar, Iowa. ⧉
